01Agreeing to these terms

Using gullydirectory.com means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. They are between you and Gully System Private Limited, a company registered in India.

If you use the site on behalf of a business, you are confirming you are allowed to act for that business.

02What this site is

GullyDirectory is a directory. It lists businesses and tells you how to contact them. It is not a party to anything that happens after that.

We do not sell, supply, guarantee or arrange the goods and services described in a listing. If you hire a builder or visit a clinic you found here, that is between you and them, and any contract, payment, complaint or dispute is theirs and yours to settle.

03What a listing means, and what it does not

Most listings were compiled by us from public and commercial sources. We take reasonable care, but a directory of this size drifts: businesses move, close, change hands and change numbers. Check anything that matters before you rely on it.

A “verified” badge means one specific thing: somebody here has seen documents indicating the business is real and that the person who claimed the page speaks for it. It is not a recommendation, a rating, a quality assurance, or a statement that the business is any good at what it does. We do not endorse any business on this site.

Listings are not ranked by payment. Nobody has bought a position on this site.

04Accounts

You need an account to claim a listing. Give a real name and an email address you control, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think somebody else is using your account.

One account, one person. Do not share credentials, and do not create accounts to claim businesses that are not yours — that is the one thing this system is built to prevent, and we will remove such accounts.

You can ask us to close your account at any time.

05Claiming and running a listing

When you claim a listing you are stating that you own or are authorised to represent that business. We check that before verifying, and a claim that turns out to be false is reversed.

Once a listing is yours you are responsible for what it says. Keep it accurate. Do not publish anything you do not have the right to publish, anything misleading about what you offer, or anything unlawful.

We may correct, suspend or remove a listing that breaks these terms, that is the subject of a credible complaint, or that we have reason to believe is fraudulent. Where it is practical we will tell you why first.

06Enquiries

Enquiries sent through this site are for genuine enquiries about a business. Do not use the form for marketing, for bulk messaging, or to abuse or harass anybody.

An enquiry goes to the business, not to us. We relay it, we cannot read it, and we cannot make anybody reply to it. If a business does not answer, that is not something we are able to fix.

Business owners: an enquiry you receive is for answering the person who sent it. Adding them to a marketing list is not that, and doing it is a breach of these terms.

07Using the site properly

You may browse, search, read and link to anything here. You may not:

• Scrape, copy or extract the directory in bulk, by any means, for any purpose.
• Use the contact details on this site to build a marketing list, cold-call list or lead database.
• Attempt to break, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to any part of the service.
• Impersonate a business, or claim a listing you have no right to.
• Republish substantial parts of the directory as your own.

The listings, the arrangement of them, the text of these pages, the name GullyDirectory and its logo belong to us or our licensors. Individual businesses own their own names and marks.

08What it costs

Listing a business here is free, and everything described on the pricing page is included at no charge. We may introduce paid visibility options in future. If we do, the features you already rely on will not be moved behind a charge.

09Availability

We try to keep the site up and correct, and we do not promise that it always will be. It is provided as it is. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it.

To the extent Indian law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of business or profit, or for anything arising out of your dealings with a business you found here. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10Complaints, and the law that applies

If something here is wrong, defamatory, infringes your rights or should not be published, write to hello@gullydirectory.com with the page address and what is wrong with it. We act on complaints of that kind quickly, and the listing policy sets out how.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction.

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page is when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after that means accepting the new version.
